According to the findings, announced in a tweet by blockchain security and data analytics firm PeckShield, losses in the attack amounted to nearly $1 million.

PeckShield adds that hackers likely exploited a swap/router of the multi-chain wallet that combines the wallet, swap, non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, and decentralized application (DApp) browser in one location.

The security company advises users of this wallet to revoke the wallet’s permission to avoid further losses. This can be done by connecting the wallet to PeckShield’s Revoke.Cash platform and de-certifying all wallet tokens, including unregistered tokens.

PeckShield noted one of the hacks where the attacker transferred more than 190 tokens over the BNB network. BitKeep Wallet, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Polygon (MATIC) It supports over 70 mainnet chains.

Launched as a decentralized Web 3 solution, the wallet application claims to serve more than 6 million users.
