Berlin Against the background of the political dispute over the heating law, the Greens are currently only 13 percent in an Insa survey. In the Sunday trend of the institute for “Bild am Sonntag”, this is the worst value since 2018 and one percentage point less than a week ago. In contrast, the AfD is in this survey at 18 percent – that’s one point more than in the previous week.

According to the information, the chancellor party SPD loses a point and now comes to 20 percent. The Union parties remain unchanged at 28 percent. The FDP increases by one point to 9 percent. The left loses a point and currently has 4 percent.

The planned law by Economics Minister Robert Habeck (Greens) for the gradual replacement of climate-damaging oil and gas heating systems is highly controversial, including in the traffic light government of Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD). The plans stipulate that from next year every newly installed heating system must be operated with at least 65 percent green energy. Habeck recently announced that he wanted to revise some aspects of the proposed law.

According to the Insa survey, 57 percent of respondents are against a ban on oil and gas heating and 28 percent are in favor – 15 percent are undecided on the question. 31 percent are convinced that the traffic light coalition will last until the end of the 2025 legislative period, 51 percent believe that the Scholz government will collapse before then. 27 percent are satisfied with the work of the federal government.

Election polls are generally subject to uncertainties. Declining party ties or increasingly short-term voting decisions make it difficult for the opinion research institutes to weight the data collected. Surveys only reflect the opinion at the time of the survey and are not forecasts of the outcome of the election. The next federal election is scheduled for 2025.
