Google has announced in recent years that it will allow gambling apps to be published on the Play Store. Today, in an announcement e-mail sent to the developers, it was stated that gambling applications will now be allowed in Turkey.
Google has previously decided to ban gambling apps altogether, except for a few countries. However, 26 countries later lifted this ban. As of today, the countries where the ban has been lifted Türkiye was also included. Now officially licensed gambling businesses will be available for download on the Google Play Store.

Developers will be able to publish gambling applications in Turkey
With an announcement to Google developer accounts today, it has been learned that developers can publish real money gambling or betting applications in Turkey.
Although gambling and betting is not legal in our country, there are some exceptions to this. Similar applications of official institutions such as Milli Piyango were already in the App Store. Android’s open source infrastructure also allowed 3rd party applications to be downloaded to devices.
With this decision taken by Google, developers will now be able to develop their own betting and gambling applications and publish them on the Play Store from Turkey.
