Google Maps has exposed Russian military bases with the change made today. While normally secret facilities and military bases belonging to all countries are blurred on Maps, Earth and similar applications or sites, Google has made all the bases owned by Russia public.

For this reason, anyone who enters Google Maps at the moment (you need to select the satellite image in the layers section) can see in detail places of high importance, from ballistic missile launches to submarine ports, all over the country – especially in the coastal part – while navigating over Russia.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces, who made the first post on the subject, announced to the public that everyone can now see the Russian military infrastructure with a resolution of 0.5 meters per pixel. Of course, this should not be considered as a direct attack direction. However, the fact that its military bases are instantly observable by everyone creates a huge security gap for Russia.
Among these newly acquired images, the most striking ones are the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier, a nuclear weapons depot near Murmansk, submarines on standby in Kamchatka and a military airbase in Kursk, just 150 kilometers from the Russia-Ukraine border.
