Adopting the Material UI design approach with Android 14, Google continues to make radical changes in its applications. According to the news of 9to5Google, the Google Play Books application will appear in front of users with a new icon.
Google Play Books is on the agenda with new icon and tablet design
The company will use the new icon with the 2023.5.30.0.1 version of the application. The older version of the icon features a book with a light blue cover sticking out from the triangular background.
The company, which wants to confront users with a more minimalist design, has removed the book in its new icon. The bookmark hanging from the inside of the book in the old icon will appear to hang out of the triangle in the new design as well. Note that the corners in the new icon are more rounded.
Android 14 Beta 3 released: Here are the new features!
Android 14 Beta 3 is out for distribution for Google Pixel models. The new update will offer lock screen clock skins and more.
It included some design changes in the tablet appearance along with the icon in Google’s Play Books application. The bottom bar in the tablet design has been replaced with a “navigation bar” on the left side of the screen.
Stating that the Android 13 QPR beta updates will end in March 2023, the company announced that the Android 14 beta process will then begin. Google announced some of the innovations it showed within the scope of I/O 2023, which it organized last month. Android 14 Beta 3 started to distribute.
Android 14 Beta 3 currently features nine clock designs for the lock screen. Seven of these designs have different font options. In this way, users can choose different lock screen interfaces to suit their tastes.
