Google last edited the Chrome logo we currently use 8 years ago. The company, which has been on the agenda for a while with the improvements it has made on its browser, announced that it will update the existing logo for Android, Windows and macOS as a decoration of the cake. Here are the details…
Google Chrome logo is renewed!
Google has updated its logo, which resembles the Pokeball in the Pokemon cartoon, twice so far. The company made the biggest change by updating its logo between 2008 and 2011. Then it used the 2nd logo for 3 years.
Then, with minor touches, the company actually kept the logo the same and made some changes on its colors and updated the logo it used between 2011 and 2014 as it is today. But for the next 8 years we didn’t see any change.
With this new change on the Chrome logo, Google will actually offer some customizations that vary according to the operating system. In other words, we will be able to see different designs on Android, Windows and macOS systems.
It is said that Google has evaluated many alternatives before making this change decision for the Chrome logo. It is stated that studies are carried out on radical changes, especially regarding the use of negative space, but the company wants to take more confident steps.
In addition, the company announced that it will first present its new logo with the Canary update shared with users today. He said that we will see the change in all operating systems in the next few months.
