Apple, which is one of the first companies that comes to mind because of the technology ecosystem, has been experiencing some problems from the production line recently. These troubles also create uncertainty on the release date of the iPhone 14, which Apple users are eagerly waiting for. However, a comforting statement came from Foxconn.
Foxconn: “production will not be disrupted in the second half of 2022”
The “zero tolerance for coronavirus” policy carried out by the Chinese state has put many technology companies in a very difficult situation. This caused disruptions in the iPhone 14 production plan. So much so that Apple, which is still behind in its work plan, may experience a delay in the release date of its new smartphone.
However, a statement came from Foxconn that made Apple relatively comfortable. The company officially announced at its annual shareholder meeting that it expects stability in its supply chains to improve in the second half of 2022. This situation gave positive signals in the production of iPhone 14.
So much so that Apple had reduced the number of production it targeted for a possible black table. The company stated at the beginning of the year that it will sell more than 300 million iPhones. However, due to the closure of Chinese factories, this number decreased to 240 million.
Undoubtedly, this statement is very important for Apple. Because the release date of the iPhone 14 series had turned into a snake story. If things go as planned, the series of iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models will appear at the Apple September Event, scheduled for September 13.
