Good news for Wi-Fi 7 from Intel and Broadcom!

Intel and Broadcom demonstrated the industry’s first cross-vendor Wi-Fi 7 with wireless speeds greater than 5 gigabits per second. The experiment used an Intel Core processor-based laptop with a Wi-Fi 7 solution connected to a Broadcom Wi-Fi 7 access point.

What does Wi-Fi 7 offer?

Wi-Fi 7; It is a platform for the next 10 years of wireless experiences that require faster speeds, lower latency, improved reliability and greater capacity.

Wi-Fi 7; It takes advantage of new features such as wider 320 MHz channels in the license-free 6GHz spectrum, higher grade 4K QAM data modulation, simultaneous connections across multiple bands with multilink processing, and improved channel utilization efficiency with multi-source unit punching.

The deterministic operation of Wi-Fi 7 supports multiple connected devices at home or in the office, enabling new product classes such as augmented and virtual reality, ultra-high resolution 16K media streaming and super responsive and reliable gaming. Also, thanks to the greatly increased speeds of Wi-Fi 7, broadband subscribers will be able to take full advantage of multi-gigabit internet packages.
