With this new audio technology brand called Snapdragon Sound, Qualcomm brings the latest audio technologies to consumers. This new brand will appear on every platform from wireless headphones to smartphones and even Snapdragon processors.
Snapdragon Sound pursues high sound quality. However, the FastConnect 7800 mobile connection system is especially important for mobile gamers. This new system also supports a range of advanced Bluetooth audio technologies. With this technology, Snapdragon can reduce the mobile game audio latency level to 68 ms. In this sense, Qualcomm and its partners can offer new game boost settings that support this technology.
Snapdragon also supports high quality audio technologies with this new sub-brand. In this sense, the leading Qualcomm aptX Adaptive technology is used. In addition, this new technology also supports new aptX lossless audio. Thus, Snapdragon Sound is capable of providing CD quality 16-bit 44.1 kHz lossless audio. It also supports 24-bit 48 kHz and 24-bit 96 kHz high-definition technologies for wireless headphones via Bluetooth wireless connection.
Snapdragon Sound also supports aptX Voice technology and Bluetooth end-to-end ultra-wideband audio technology.
