TaleWorlds Entertainment announced today at Gamescom 2022 that globally acclaimed action RPGs, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, will launch on PlayStation (PS4 and PS5) and Xbox consoles (Xbox One and Series S&X) on October 25. Here are the details…
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is coming to PlayStation and Xbox
Developed for all platforms from day one, the console version of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord will have the same gameplay features as the PC version. The game will be available for pre-order today (August 23, 16:00 UTC) in the Playstation and Xbox Stores and at major retailers.
The desktop early access version, which is currently available, will also go into full release on the same date as the consoles. But don’t worry – while this is an important milestone, it’s not the end of the road for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, which will continue to receive updates over the coming months.
Armağan Yavuz, CEO of TaleWorlds Entertainment, expressed his feelings today with the following words, “It has been a long and difficult two years. Developing a huge and complex game like Bannerlord for multiple platforms in the midst of the pandemic is no easy task – I’m incredibly proud of our team for their continued and dedicated work.
Despite the challenges, the development process was also rewarding: Synergies between consoles and PC that we didn’t expect at the outset have allowed Bannerlord to grow and be better than it could have been in other circumstances. We look forward to releasing the game to our amazing community that has supported us on consoles since Warband.”
