As the pullback trend in the overall crypto market continues, the world’s richest Ethereum (ETH) whales are leaving their SHIB addictions behind and accumulating one of the most popular ETH competitors. The local entity of the massive whales oracle network Chainlink has also made several major acquisitions on the LINK side.
Scalable smart contract-enabled blockchain, according to data shared by WhaleStats on Twitter. Phantom (FTM)became the top target of the top 500 ETH addresses on record for over 24 hours this week. FTM has displaced Shiba Inu (SHIB), the popular dog-themed meme token and Dogecoin (DOGE)’s biggest competitor.

At the time of writing, FTM is trading at $1.20. The cryptocurrency, which ranks 44th by market cap, has dropped more than 5 percent from the level it was in the last 24 hours, and more than 35 percent from where it was priced the last week.
An Ethereum whale known as “Gimli” bought 1,300,000 FTMs worth approximately $1.6 million in a single large transaction Thursday morning.

Seven minutes later, the same wealthy investor bought a large amount of LINK. Gimli has 476,799 valuations of more than $6.3 million at the time of transaction Chainlink (LINK) he bought.

Whales are also worth hundreds of thousands of dollars Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC) and Binance USD (BUSD) was taking over stablecoins like Wealthy investors bought an average of 898,595 USDT, 719,327 USDC and 245,651 BUSD, according to WhaleStats.
