President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that a state of emergency has been declared for 3 months in 10 provinces where the earthquake was experienced. In addition, he shared that 54 thousand tents and 102 thousand beds were shipped to the region.

We update and share the number of dead, injured and destroyed buildings announced as a result of the Southeast Anatolian earthquake.
He said that 53,317 personnel are currently participating in search and rescue activities and this number has increased with the addition of volunteers and teams from abroad. In addition, it was stated that 100 billion TL resources were transferred for the 10 provinces that experienced earthquakes.
He said that more than 5 thousand additional doctors and other health personnel were deployed in the region, and 10 ships and 54 aircraft were used for food, medicine, and other transportation operations. He also announced that satellite transmission terminals will be established in order for the communication lines to return to normal as soon as possible.
