Produced with a 5 nm fabrication process, the A15 Bionic processor powers all members of the iPhone 13 family. Consisting of 15 billion transistors, the processor consists of 6 cores, two of which are high-frequency. However, the device includes 5G connectivity and WiFi 6 technology.
Apple says it’s “the fastest processor in a smartphone,” up to 50 percent faster than its competitors, plus graphics are up to 30 percent faster than its competitors. The image signal processor developed with the 16-core Neural Engine sets the A15 Bionic apart from its competitors.
The two rear cameras of the iPhone 13, which has a 6.1-inch screen, have a 12 Megapixel f / 1.6 wide angle and a 12 Megapixel f / 2.4 ultra wide angle lens. In addition, Apple, which improved the night mode in the previous series, uses Smart HDR 4 technology, a method used in movie shooting on new iPhones. The Face ID notch on the device is 20 percent smaller than the previous model.
The iPhone 13 also has a feature that Apple introduced in the 12 Pro Max last year. Sensor shift stabilization technology is included in the device, which physically moves the large sensor to reduce vibrations.
On the front, there is a Smart HDR 4 camera with a 12 Megapixel f / 2.2 aperture. Offering Face ID technology, this camera can also record 4K / 60 FPS video.
The new iPhone 13 series also offers better battery life. The iPhone 13 has up to 2.5 hours more battery life than the iPhone 12.
