Fresenius is up almost nine percent – Dax, on the other hand, is standing still

Dusseldorf The Dax did not manage to approach the psychologically important 16,000 point mark in Tuesday trading. The leading German index ended the day almost unchanged at 15,955 points. In a generally inconsistent market, the Fresenius share was particularly noticeable with a temporary price increase of more than ten percent.

Off the floor, the Dax was already at 15,980 points before it opened on Tuesday. Yesterday, Monday, the leading index was not able to reach the 16,000 point mark during the entire course of trading.

The lack of movement in the Dax is currently particularly striking. On Tuesday, there were only 63 points between the daily high and low, the equivalent of 0.4 percent. And for the past three weeks, the total trading range has been just 2 percent.
