France is a corona and yield hotspot at the same time

France is the Corona hotspot in Europe, the number of new infections is more than four times as high as in Germany. But as aggressively as the Omikron variant is spreading in the neighboring country, the French economy seems to be holding back against it. The recovery can be seen not only in the gross domestic product, but also in the Paris stock exchange.
Last year, the CAC 40 was the world’s most successful major benchmark index. The French counterpart to the Dax was able to record an increase of 29 percent. Patrick Linden, German head of the French fund provider Clartan, explains why French listed companies are also experiencing one all-time high after the other in January and whether this could continue.
