First trailer for Altay from T-World Cinematic Universe!

Bülent Turgut, who undertook the production of TV series such as Filinta and confrontation in the past, has been carrying out a different work for a while. The project, which has been under construction and development for several years, T-World Cinematic Universe and takes us to Turkey’s first superhero universe. So we can think of it as our domestic Marvel/DC series. Today, the first trailer for the Altay series was released.

T-World Cinematic Universe begins: The first trailer for the Altay series has been released!

T-World Cinematic Universe was designed with inspiration from Turkish and Islamic history, events and people. For example, in many places there are references from Mevlana to Ali Kuşçu, from Harezmi to Ahmet Yesevi.

The Altay series, the first trailer of which was shared today, also represents only one of the characters named Water Perisi, Gemini, Rumi, Evil Eye and Human Repairman. It is stated that 36 characters have been studied in total. In fact, Bülent Turgut says that they are not designing a single series, but a whole cinematic universe, that the characters will have intersections and divergences, and that they will all appear in different productions in the same universe.

Hakan: The Guardian Season 4 has been released! The final is coming

It is particularly noted that unlike the Marvel and DC wannabe productions we have encountered so far, an original cinematic universe has been developed. In other words, we will come across brand new characters and stories that are completely independent of the 100-year-old US comic book adventure, which is appreciated by the whole world.

Bülent Turgut said the following in an interview with AA’s Musa Alcan:

“We are not talking about a single project. We studied 36 characters within this general story universe. Actually, we are not just making a single series, we are creating a platform. We will tell the first story of this platform with the intersection and separation points of six characters.

These characters, who have movies and TV series, will live in the same universe. He will tell the heroes of our cultural geography in a language that the new generation will understand, visually and, most importantly, in storytelling. We will be a structure that specializes in fantasy and science fiction. After introducing our first character universe, we will also create an environment for creative individuals who want to work on this subject based in Turkey.

While we respect the 100 years of culture and production of Marvel and DC Comics, we do not make Turkish versions of these universes and heroes. Our perspective is very different. We live in a geography with historical traditions. USA’s superheroes have been saving the world for years.

The axis of evil will always be there, but our superheroes will not only save the world but also humanity. Because our methods are fed by many different things. We are a nation that grew up with the stories of Dede Korkut. The real superheroes that geographical stories offer us already exist in our lives. Of course, the action will be the best, but we look at the events from the human and emotional axis.

Therefore, while we were building our cinematic universe, we were influenced by Harezmi, Rezzaz al-Cezeri, Sufism and Mevlana. This universe will tell the heroes of our cultural geography in a language that the new generation will understand, visually and, above all, in storytelling.

After my children were born, they watched the contents of a channel that made important moves like TRT Çocuk for a while. After a certain age, children began to be influenced by foreign superheroes at school and to emulate their costumes.

I was sure then. I said it’s time for these superhero costumes to change. Technically, there was such a lack in the world of Turkish cinema and television. Why not our superhero, who will be followed by children and does the right things focused entirely on our culture?

In other words, I think that this job should serve a purpose besides its professional side. We are in the business of leaving permanent things for the future. We aim to do things that our grandchildren will see, love and adopt through my own children.

For the infrastructure of this project, we have done readings on Turkish mythology, Iran, Arab geography, Islam, and theology. We examined vital and philosophical perspectives. So you can’t just say ‘I made a superhero’ with a mask and a cape.

I just read dozens of books. We were having a problem in human resources, we took care of that too. Now there are many people who say, ‘We also want to enter this field’. Now we will create a ground that will enable those young people to bring their ideas to life.”
