Ferrari SP48 Unica: only 1 will be produced!

While the number of serial cars with astonishing prices in the world is increasing day by day, there are special projects that are produced only 1 piece and thus ensured to be in a single person. Ferrari has added a new one to its unique models such as the Omologata and the BR20: Ferrari SP48 Unica announced!

Realized at the Ferrari Design Center under the leadership of Flavio Manzoni and rising on the F8 Tributo platform, the two-seater sports Berlinetta differs from the original model with its taut lines and aggressive stance.

Ferrari 296 GTS introduced: 2.9 seconds!

The Ferrari 296 GTS is the latest evolution of the Berlinetta Spider, a two-seat mid-rear engine model. Here are the features of the vehicle!

Ferrari SP48 stands out with its Unica design

Redesigned headlights and repositioned brake vents give the car a face that reflects the “Arrow” approach at the front. SP48 Unica’s excellent 3D grilles, which use procedural-parametric modeling and 3D prototyping techniques to redesign the front grille and engine air intakes, also contribute to its unique expression.

The overall design of SP48 Unica is integrated with the graphic solutions applied in its bodywork and affects it. The transition from black to body color is especially evident on the windows, roof and engine hood. The striking visor effect of the front is further enhanced by the reduction of the side windows and the elimination of the rear glass, making the SP48 Unica appear to have been sculpted from one piece.

In the design, the middle part of the ceiling and also the graphic pattern resembling the air intake draw attention. This angle highlights the design precision applied in SP48 Unica and at the same time reveals the interaction of applied symmetrical forms and intersecting lines.

SP48 Unica’s design does not only reveal a fluid and dynamic design, but also offers a unique aerodynamic balance and meets all cooling requirements of the system. The air intakes of the engine cooling channels in the front bumper and under the rear spoiler differ from the design of the F8 Tributo.

SP48 Unica’s cockpit, which generally preserves the cabin architecture of the F8 Tributo, except for the rear window, integrates with the color reflecting its stylish, sporty and aggressive personality and the black Alcantara material used in most of the cabin.

Beneath this is a red-orange fabric substrate that matches the exterior color. The pattern used is the same as the grids and the ceiling, creating continuity in the interior and exterior design. Polished treadplates with the same laser-embossed hexagonal pattern accompany the integrity. Matte carbon fiber surfaces give the cockpit a technical and original look, complemented by metallic gray accents.
