Photos from the scene show that the front fender was crushed and the nose section was shattered. However, officials said the extent of the engine-side problems will not be known until a comprehensive inspection is completed.
The 275 GTB, one of Ferrari’s iconic models from the 1960s, is very popular among collectors today. Non-accident examples sell for over $3 million at auction. This shows that millions of dollars were lost in the accident.
