Munich He rarely needs a clue when it comes to explaining the context of the German real estate market. Reiner Braun has been dealing with real estate for more than 20 years, especially with the housing market.
During this time, the CEO of the market research institute Empirica advised municipalities, developers, investors and politicians of all party political persuasions. The latter in particular are giving him a headache. “When it comes to the subject of housing, I sense a certain resistance to advice,” says the doctor of economics. Accordingly, he has little hope for the upcoming housing construction day, which is scheduled to take place in Berlin in mid-April. “There are again Sunday speeches and patted shoulders, nothing more.”
