The 108 Megapixel supported Isocell HM6 sensor released by Samsung had 1/1.67 inch size, 0.64μm pixel size, 8K 24 Fps video recording support, 3x lossless zoom and Super PD autofocus.
The features of the newly introduced 200 Megapixel supported Isocell HP3 sensor with 0.56μm pixel size (12 percent smaller pixel size than its predecessor), which is said to start production this year, goes beyond this. First we see that the sensor size is 1/1.4 inch, so it gets bigger. Pixel sizes are 0.56μm. It also supports 30fps in 8K and 120fps in 4K.

According to the statement made by Samsung, the production of this sensor will start this year. Therefore, considering that it will include the first products from mass production in its own devices, we can say that it will come in February of next year with the S23 series.
Of course, it entered the market faster than expected, as it sold the 108 Megapixel supported Isocell HM6 sensor to other brands such as Xiaomi in the past years. Similarly, this year, it can make an agreement with companies that try to stand out, such as Motorola, and launch it before the end of 2022.
But we know that this new sensor is only planned for high-end flagship devices for now. Therefore, we will have to wait for a while for its arrival in the middle segment. On the other hand, the 108 Megapixel sensor may become more common in the market.
