Farm Bank Defense by Tosuncuk: Not Me, BRSA Flawed

Mehmet Aydın, nicknamed Tosuncuk, who signed one of the biggest fraud cases in the history of Turkey with Çiftlik Bank, took his place in the courtroom again today. These, too, hung their signs with the permission of the municipalities. When bad news started to come out about us, then it became a problem. We were talked about as if we were hanging for the first time. A forced lawsuit was filed with the thought of not hurting our heads. What is at fault here is the BRSA itself. Because the BRSA should not allow this. I got my official permissions, I am not responsible.”

“We didn’t raise money, we sold game services”

The judge said, “You are on trial in the other file, didn’t you collect money there?” Answering the question, Tosun used the following expressions:

“Our transactions there are commercial transactions. Fundraising does not count. We sold game services, we invoiced for it. It is not fundraising. At this stage, I demand my acquittal.”
