Kevin O’Leary, host of Shark Tank TV, explained which cryptocurrencies he includes in his crypto portfolio in an interview with Trader TV.
The famous businessman said that his portfolio includes the two largest cryptocurrencies Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) in the market, as well as Solana (SOL), Polygon (MATIC) and peer-to-peer payment network Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR).
“I think Bitcoin, Ethereum, HBAR and Polygon are all software. So I have investments in all of these assets.”
Emphasizing portfolio diversification, O’Leary stated that the largest altcoin Ethereum has the largest percentage in its portfolio.
Noting that he has a significant amount of Solana in his portfolio, the famous name said that the meeting he held with the Polygon team had a great impact on him:
“My biggest investment right now is Ethereum. But I also have a high amount of Solana and Polygon. Because I met the Polygon team in Dubai. I was very impressed with the team’s technologies to aggregate transactions on Ethereum and significantly reduce gas fees or costs.
I saw in them the principle of working on efficiency, low cost and productivity. That’s why I invested in them.”
Kevin O’Leary also revealed that crypto exposure, which was around 3% in the first quarter of last year, has now risen to over 10% as a result of his work with FTX and Circle.
Stating that he increased his crypto portfolio in 2021, O’Leary said that he will continue to invest in crypto in 2022 and research new projects.
Yildiz name finally stated that the regulatory uncertainty in the USA will continue in 2022 and said, “There will be no change in the USA market in 2022. I don’t think they will even bother with stablecoins. The US will go through a very long process before institutionalizing crypto.” said.
