Zcash Media According to a video published by Snowden, the privacy-focused cryptocurrency Zcash‘of (ZEC) played an important role in its development.
The famous name was one of the 6 owners of Zcash’s multi-signature private key. The project was developed on October 23, 2016, and Snowden highlights in the video:
My name is Edward Snowden. I attended the Zcash original ceremony under the name of John Dobbertin.”
The fact that a name like Edward Snowden was included in the Zcash team and being one of the six founding members definitely aroused great repercussions.
Snowden and 5 others are launching the project by combining their private key parts. Participants do not know who the others are and this is how they protect their anonymity.
The private key part of each person is then destroyed to prevent transactions.

In a statement on the subject, Snowden emphasized that he is really happy with the launch of the Zcash project.
Emphasizing that Zcash’s privacy is important, Snowden did not comment on the price. ZEC is down 0.3% in the last 24 hours.
