Lockheed Martin, a manufacturer operating in the United States, recently delivered the first batch of three F-16 Block 70 aircraft to Bahrain. Thus, Bahrain became the first country to integrate the F-16 Block 70 aircraft into its fleet.
The number of aircraft produced for Bahrain is not 3, but 11. Some of these aircraft are still undergoing land and air tests. The first batch of aircraft, whose tests were completed and successfully passed quality control, were delivered to Bahrain. Turkey also has an F-16 Block 70 order that emerged with the F-35 crisis. The Turkish Air Force ordered a total of 40 F-16 Block 70 fighter jets and 79 F-16 Block 70 modernization kits to be integrated into the fleet.
