Vitalik Buterin sent an additional 99 Ethereum in his transfer today, bringing the total donation amount to 100 ETH. With this development, Buterin’s donation for the earthquake disaster in Turkey was approximately $150,000.
In the development experienced yesterday, Buterin sent only 1 ETH Turkish cryptocurrency users have reacted.
Turkish digital artist Murat Pak also reacted to this situation and returned 1 ETH sent by Vitalik Buterin. Murat Pak also recently announced that he donated 100 ETH crypto money to AHBAP.
Murat Pak had the following to say for Buterin’s first donation, 1 ETH:
“Of course Vitalik Buterin could be verifying his support wallet. I have no doubt that such influential tech figures will offer a full collaboration. My move is just to highlight a social media miscommunication.”
It’s Unknown Why Buterin Only Sends 1 ETH At First
The reason why Buterin donated only 1 ETH in the first place is not fully clarified. According to estimates, Buterin may have confirmed the authenticity of the wallet by sending 1 ETH before making a large transfer.
