Enough doses available for more Corona booster vaccinations – children’s vaccine will be delivered in the EU on December 13th

In Germany are now at least 57 million people fully vaccinated against Covid-19. That is 68.6 percent of the total population, according to the vaccination dashboard of the Robert Koch Institute on Wednesday (as of Wednesday 9.38 a.m.). Accordingly, around 807,000 doses were administered on Tuesday. This involved 90,729 first vaccinations, 59,847 second and 656,743 booster vaccinations.

For comparison: on Tuesday a week ago (23.11.) 96,410 first vaccinations were recorded, two weeks ago (16.11.) There were 63,365. However, there were already significantly higher values this month: This was the case on November 24th and 25th nearly 120,000 first vaccinations registered each time.

The RKI assumes that among adults there are probably more people vaccinated than the data suggests: A hundred percent registration of the vaccinations cannot be achieved by the reporting system, according to the vaccination overview of the RKI.

There are also significant regional differences in the level of vaccinations against the coronavirus: Bremen has the highest proportion among the federal states, 80.2 percent of the population there are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus. Saxony remains at the bottom by far, here the proportion of those who are fully vaccinated is only 58.2 percent.
