England became a partner in Turkey’s National Combat Aircraft project!

Britain’s largest Defense Industry company BAE Systems has announced that technology transfer has been made for the National Combat Aircraft.

JACKAL UAV features

Defense Industry cooperation between Turkey and England is increasing. Of course, agreements made at the state level also open the door to many opportunities for the private sector. In this direction, within the framework of the agreement between Fly Bvlos Technology and British Flyby Technology, 5 JACKAL UAVs will be exported to the UK in the first place, and a total of 50 units.

The JACKAL UAV design and features actually remind us of the Bayraktar DİHA platform. Because both aircraft can take off vertically. But when we look at JACKAL, we see that it has a helicopter-like structure with UAV wings.

We see that JACKAL has 8 propellers that enable vertical take-off and landing. These are positioned in 2 at the 4 corners of the vehicle. After landing and take-off, it has 2 turbine engines so that it can move horizontally, as in airplanes.

When we look at the features shared by Fly Bvlos Technology, we see that this UAV has a range of approximately 130 kilometers. With a maximum load carrying capacity of up to 15 kg. In other words, systems such as electro-optical cameras and laser marking in Bayraktar DİHA can be used. Of course, we should mention that it can perform surveillance and various tasks other than military purposes.
