Elon Musk explained the plans he wanted to realize within the platform at his meeting with the staff. The desire of the business person to make money on Twitter was already known. Now, Musk conveyed to his employees that the necessary work should be started for Twitter banking services.

With Twitter banking services, users will be able to pay their in-platform payments with the money they deposit into their accounts. Musk also wants to pave the way for shopping on the platform. With this service, a user will be able to instantly send money to a user in another part of the world. The businessman expressed his plan in these words:

There isn’t a huge difference between sending a direct message and sending a payment. These are basically the same thing. In principle, you can use a direct messaging stack for payments. And that’s definitely one direction we’re going in, making sure people on Twitter can send money instantly and in real time to anywhere in the world.

Blue teak, which was first used in a few countries including the USA, started to take place in Turkey as well. Twitter users who pay $8 a month now get a blue tick that indicates they have a verified account. Twitter Blue subscribers who pay 110 TL in Turkey will have a blue tick.
