In the turbulent tenure since Musk bought Twitter in October, the company had changed its business name to X Corp, similar to the billionaire’s vision to create a “super app” like China’s WeChat.

The company came under widespread criticism from users and marketing professionals when Musk announced earlier this month that Twitter would limit how many tweets various accounts can read per day.
However, after Musk asked for suggestions for the logo, a share came from Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao. Zhao created an “X” for the Twitter logo by taking a section from the Binance logo.
