Drawing attention to the work to be done during and after the disaster, Minister Soylu announced that an exercise will be held to cover the whole country.

On November 12, at 18.57, we will hold a country exercise for the first time. Radios will announce drills, TVs will announce drills. Announcement will be passed automatically. From the established system, a message will be sent to all of Turkey at the same time.
As a result of the Düzce earthquake that took place on November 12, 1999, 845 citizens lost their lives and 4,948 citizens were injured. The earthquake, with a magnitude of 7.2 and the epicenter of Düzce, was felt even in Ukraine as well as many surrounding provinces.
