The news of the cancellation was first shared by Will Powers, who served as the PR leader at tech giant Razer. In the post on Twitter, it was reported that E3 2022 was canceled with an incoming e-mail.
After that Entertainment Software Association (ESA)confirmed in an official statement that E3 2022 has been canceled: “In our previous statements, we announced that E3 2022 would not take place physically due to the risks caused by COVID. Today, we would like to explain that the event will not take place digitally.”
