Dynamo has brought Ronny Zimmermann (30) on board. He’s not a player, but a press spokesman who has worked for the DFB and the Saxon state government, among others, and who works for VfL Pirna-Copitz.
Strange: The personnel has not yet been officially reported. A look at the club’s website reveals, however, that a new position has even been introduced for Zimmermann: the “Club Development and Communication” department.
Up to now there was only one responsible press spokesman and head of communication at Dynamo with Henry Buschmann (38). He’s been doing the job very successfully for ten years and has now also become something of the face of the club.
Should the Buschmanns now be booted out or even dumped?
According to BILD information, the plan was for Zimmermann to take care of administrative matters and to support Managing Director Jürgen Wehlend with PR issues. Buschmann’s area of responsibility should be limited to the sporting area.
However: Zimmermann was apparently bypassed Buschmann and installed without his knowledge, and according to the job description, has even been transferred to him. In the meantime, Bushman was even sent on vacation.
