Grosch to BILD: “We wanted to invest the money we saved in our honeymoon rather than in a big wedding party. We will spend it very romantically in a desert reserve with antelopes and camels. Only then will I carry Daniela over the threshold after our arrival in a wedding dress. “
For his wedding Mike recorded the song “Du” for his Daniela. But the song is stolen – from Michael Wendler of all people!
He had already recorded the song for his wife Laura (21) as a wedding song in 2020. In Wendler’s planned RTL2 wedding documentary, the song even ran in a TV trailer, but was later deleted by the broadcaster.
Grosch: “The original songwriter Tom Marquardt then offered me the song. At first I didn’t like the song, but when I sang it I liked it. I then put it on my new album. “
Does he now feel guilty about Wendler? Grosch: “Nope. Perhaps that was not entirely ethically correct, but I ‘don’t care’ … I sing the song better than Wendler anyway. And my Daniela really likes it too. “
Funny detail: Wendler is said to have only made one change in the original text. He reinserted his slogan “No matter” from his last single into the text.
