According to the shared data, more than 50 percent of Netflix users share accounts. In return, he receives either part of the fee or the passwords of the accounts of the person he shared, such as Disney, Hulu and HBO. For this reason, the company said that it will charge additional fees from those who share their passwords with people outside the family.
However, during an interview today, a company official said that the additional fee that the platform will bring to account sharers will not be valid in the USA. Because, in a subscription system that has recently been tested, people who want to share their accounts with people living outside of their homes are offered an additional fee of $ 2.99 per month.
In other words, instead of paying a penalty to those who share their passwords with others, they will legalize what they are doing by paying a small additional fee within their subscription system. Moreover, this $2.99 fee will be valid for 2 new users.
It is expected that a similar fee will be included in the penal system to be applied in our country as in the rest of Europe. In other words, an additional payment of around 3 dollars can be brought to those who share their password. Of course, in the system that will come to us, it will not be taken into account how many people it is shared with.
As of today, the platform has increased its prices in Turkey significantly. However, the new prices Basis plan 37.99 TL for Standard 57.99 TL for the plan and Special plan for 77.99 TL. Therefore, if we make a reasonable dollar-TL translation, we expect to encounter a much lower amount of 45 TL.
