Koinfinans.com As we reported, Trump’s first NFT collection managed to attract attention in a short time. After it was launched last December, its prices rose, as expected. The second collection, released in April, was just below its original printing price of $99. But when the third NFT collection was released — this time a special 100,000-piece “Mugshot Edition” that included pieces of the suit Trump wore while being arrested in Georgia earlier this fall — Trump NFT fatigue appeared to have set in.
At the time of writing, less than half of the collection had been printed. What’s more, base prices for Trump’s first two NFT collectibles began falling with the announcement of the “Mugshot Edition” earlier this month.
Trump has not commented publicly on the reason behind the recent crypto sell-off. But he recently claimed at a campaign rally that he owes more than $100 million in legal fees for being named as a defendant in four separate ongoing criminal prosecutions.
