dogecoin One of its developers, Ross Nicoll, announced that he would stop working on DOGE, saying he was under intense stress.
However, Nicoll stated in his blog post that he will continue to work as a consultant at the Dogecoin Foundation. Nicoll currently works at Google as a software engineer.
“I Want To Get Away From The High Stress of Dogecoin Development”
Nicoll, one of the main developers of Dogecoin, said that due to the stress that has come with the popularity of DOGE in recent years. cryptocurrency announced that it would stop working on:
“I need to move away from Dogecoin for a multitude of reasons. I think the most important of these is that the stress factor is really too much. So I have to get away from DOGE for a while to focus on myself.”

Nicoll also said that as his company, Google, begins to enter the world of Blockchain, the risk of conflicts of interest will increase if he remains a director of the Dogecoin Foundation:
“Everything I can deliver, I will hand over to the Dogecoin Foundation. However, I will continue to work as a consultant at the foundation to facilitate the change process.”

The DOGE Foundation announced in its roadmap last year that the name of the cryptocurrency would be protected against potential fraud and abuse. Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin also joined the DOGE Foundation last year as a Blockchain and cryptocurrency advisor.
Dogecoin was founded in 2013 by IBM software engineer Billy Markus and Adobe software engineer Jackson Palmer.
Ross Nicoll said in the breakup statement that he is confident the remaining developers will put DOGE in a better position.
