Introduced in 2021, the Dimensity 9000 model surpassed its rival thanks to 17 percent higher memory bandwidth compared to Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Heating and performance problems in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 model caused Qualcomm to fall behind in the competition.
According to the leaked Geekbench 6 score, the Dimensity 9200 Plus managed to score 2,121 points in single-core tests. In multi-core tests, the processor, which came out with 5,655 points, surpassed Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It should be noted that the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, one of the most powerful smartphones in the world, scored 5,641 points in multi-core tests and 1,992 points in single-core tests when the performance mode is on.

In the processor, which is stated to be 8 cores, 1 Cortex-X3 (3.35GHz), 3 Cortex-A715 (3.00GHz) and 4 Cortex-A510 (2.00GHz) cores will be used. On the graphics interface side, the Immortalis-G715 MC11 GPU will be featured.
The company announced that it will introduce its new flagship processor on May 10. It is estimated that the first model to be introduced with the Dimensity 9200 Plus processor will be the iQOO Neo 8 Pro.
