What is a vacuum bomb?

The thermobaric bomb, popularly known as the vacuum bomb, falls into the category of weapons that are prohibited and used only for offensive purposes. Although it does not leave behind deadly radiation like the most known nuclear and atomic bombs today, it is at least as powerful as them.

Cluster bomb / vacuum bomb

The vacuum bomb is usually used by air-to-land release via an aircraft. Then 2 critical stages take place. In the first step, the highly flammable chamber explodes at the specified altitude and glides down the sky like rain. In the second step, an explosive called Aerosol in another chamber takes fire and burns everything from the sky to the ground.

It also absorbs as much oxygen as possible, applying a downward pressure to the ground and creating a vacuum effect. According to the statement, all living things within the limits of the shock wave lose their lives at that moment. However, the main reason for its ban is that it evaporates all living things within its sphere of influence. Of course, although there is no chemical and nuclear waste left in the soil after the explosion, the resulting shock wave is not like an atomic bomb.

What is cluster bomb?

Modern versions of this weapon, known as cluster bomb or cluster bomb, open the coating around it while moving towards its target in the sky, releasing tens of small bombs inside.

These tiny bombs then explode where they hit without a specific target in the designated area. Although its explosive effect is not very high, it focuses entirely on ending the human life in that area due to the shrapnel scattered around.
