Berlin After a good start, Deutsche Telekom is more optimistic about the year as a whole. The Bonn-based Dax group announced on Friday that the adjusted operating result (Ebitda AL) is now expected to be more than 36.6 billion euros for 2022.
So far, around 36.5 billion euros had been promised. In the first quarter, Ebitda AL climbed 6.8 percent to 9.9 billion euros, while revenue increased 6.2 percent to 28 billion euros.
With the numbers for the first quarter, Deutsche Telekom exceeded the forecasts of analysts. In a survey commissioned by the company itself, they had forecast average revenues of EUR 27.87 billion and adjusted Ebitda of EUR 9.55 billion.
