Frankfurt Deutsche Bank is giving up two large office locations on the outskirts of Frankfurt and in Eschborn: The employees of the digital factory in the Frankfurt district of Sossenheim and the IT employees who have previously worked at the Technical Center Eschborn (TZE) are to be relocated to three of the bank’s existing locations relocated in Frankfurt city center. According to the bank, there are around 5,500 employees who will move gradually.

The bank justifies its step with the increased desire for more home offices and with the aim of “using our space more efficiently and giving our colleagues the opportunity to work together again increasingly in a modern working environment”. These opportunities for cooperation not only suffered from the pandemic, but also “from the very fragmented office landscape of Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt”.
