Shirley & Mick learn gruesome details of Tina’s murder; plus Emmerdale & Coronation Street news

EASTENDERS’ Shirley and Mick Carter were left in tears as the details of Tina’s murder at the hands of killer Gray Atkins were revealed.

The abusive serial killer – who murdered Shirley’s sister Tina and hid her body under the Arjee Barjee – was caught during last week’s violent storyline finale.

Frustrated there was no information from police, Zack managed to get some facts after Gray had reportedly started telling police further details.

Sharon’s brother said: “Yesterday, he finally talked. Tina was already dead when she went into the ground. He said she confronted him about Chantelle,” Zack said, as he sat with Mick and Shirley and told them what the police had found out so far.

Shirley then replied: “Whitney said she had been asking questions.”

“There was a fight, she tried to get away and he strangled her. He wrapped her in a shower curtain, put her in the boot. They’re still looking for the car, but he says it was stolen,” Zack explained.

Breaking down in tears, Mick said: “I was there, I was there that night. I saw him. He was out by his motor, he told me that she’d left. The old bill wanted to go in his gaffe, wanted to see if she was there, but he said he had to go somewhere. He said he had to go get something for the kids. She was there though, wasn’t she? She was in the boot of the motor.”

The court was told McFadden originally planned to fight the case on grounds his drinks were spiked at a club.

The actor, right as Phil, told officers he had drunk three pints of beer at 10.30pm.
