There hasn't been a Ride Along movie in over seven years, but star and producer Ice Cube says Ride Along 3 is still in the works. The first two movies in the franchise came out in 2014 and 2016 and combined to gross nearly $280 million at the worldwide box office even though both films were panned by critics. The comedic chemistry between Ice Cube and Kevin Hart gave the movies enough appeal to make them worthwhile entries in the buddy cop genre.
