Money is growing scarce for Nate Robinson and his new bride Tracy (Amy Walsh) and things were made worse when Moira Dingle also struggled with her farm.
But next week on ITV, Tracy tries to stay optimistic while Nate struggles to share her perspective.
While Nate’s father Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) tries to comfort a devastated Dan Spencer, Corey arrives with a job opportunity for the garage, leaving the tough man intrigued.
At the Woolpack, Cain’s encouraged as he and Corey agree to a business deal with the garage.
Arriving at the pub, Nate is surprised and happy when he recognises Corey from school.
Nate enjoys a pint with his long lost mate Corey but he’s embarrassed when Charity asks if he still wants Eve’s hand me downs and he’s left feeling like a failure.
Meanwhile, Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) continues to dabble in business after managing to make many enemies in the eponymous Dales.
Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) confirms she slept easier after taking Caleb’s loan.
Cain’s annoyed when Nate refuses extra work and he leaves, clearly up to something.
Later, a nervous Nate begs Corey for a job but is left disappointed when Corey tells him he can’t help him with any work.
At the farm, Nate and Mackenzie Robb (Lawrence Robb) make amends after ferociously competing for a spot at the farm and proceed to raid Moira’s kitchen.
Both are left glad there’s no hard feelings.
Arriving later at the garage, Mackenzie’s chuffed when Cain lets him help with his new fleet of cars.
In the pub, unimpressed Caleb ends a hushed call just as a brooding Cain enters and pays his first instalment on their loan.
Caleb watches him leave with sadness, secretly wishing there was more he could do.
Outside, smiling Tracy’s happy about her induction while Nate is hacked off to see Mackenzie working at the garage.
He heads off in a strop, knowing exactly what he has to do.
Corey’s face later drops to see Nate enter the Office, asking for work.

But the biggest shock comes when Caleb sees Nate there and his cover as a silent investor is blown.
Caleb tries to back track as Nate pieces everything together but he’s thwarted as the businessman buys his silence.
Soon, Nate turns the tables on Caleb and threatens to tell Cain everything about his business unless he gives him a job.
What will Caleb respond?
Could Nate be putting himself in danger?
