Crisis on Infinite Earths is one of the most iconic storylines ever published by DC Comics. Surprisingly enough, it had for a long time had very few adaptations outside the comics. This was due to the nature of the story, though the ubiquity of the multiverse concept in modern fiction has changed that. The result is a long-awaited animated version of Crisis, though it might be coming at the wrong time.
