But it seems Sir Mick Jagger’s age has finally caught up with him after he celebrated his 80th birthday with a star-studded bash in London.

Onlookers told me the Rolling Stones singer only stayed for just over an hour at the swanky party, thrown in his honour, at Chelsea’s Embargo Republica Club.
A source said: “Mick’s big party was going off from 11pm and it was the place to be.
“It was a very starry affair with everyone from Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie and Lenny Kravitz, as well as his daughter Zoe, turning up to enjoy some drinks.
“Mick arrived about 45 minutes after the bash began and stayed for just over an hour before heading home.
“He was in great spirits and had been celebrating all day with his family so when it started to get close to 1am he was ready to hit the hay.”
But the party kept going long into the morning, with his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick and his daughter Jade Jagger leading the charge.
The insider added: “Mick wanted everyone to let their hair down so he put on a free bar, dished out some finger food and had the music blasting. There were dancers dressed in carnival-style outfits too, to get people into the party spirit.
“It was a night no one will forget in a hurry.”
I am not surprised Mick was ready to get home, given he went straight to the cricket yesterday morning.
The rocker, whose bandmate and good pal Ronnie Wood was also at his bash, got a box at The Oval for his birthday so he headed straight to make good use of it.

A pal said: “Mick is a huge cricket fan and has always wanted a box at The Oval.
“His family have been trying to get him one for years but demand is huge and the waiting list is massive.
“They finally managed to secure one and Mick was bowled over when he was told about it on his birthday.
“Previously Mick has borrowed boxes from pals including Sir Tim Rice but now he finally has one of his own.
“Having a box at The Oval is incredibly expensive and extremely coveted so he feels very lucky that his family worked so hard to make it happen for him.”
I would be doing exactly the same, Mick. Time for afternoon tea, anyone?

Having spent years denying she has had surgery, she told a pal on the latest episode of The Kardashians: “I got my breasts done before Stormi.
“Within six months of having Stormi, not thinking I would have a child when I was 20, they were still healing.
“I had beautiful breasts, like natural t*ts, just gorgeous, like perfect size, perfect everything, and I just wished, obviously, I never got them done.”
She added: “Obviously I have a daughter too. I’d be heartbroken if she wanted to get her body done at 19. She’s the most beautiful thing ever.”

The rapper was set to perform in front of the Pyramids of Giza tonight to launch album Utopia, with people spending four-figure sums on tickets and jetting in from around the world.

One superfan in the US even claimed he had sold his house to fund his trip.
But late on Wednesday the show was axed due to “complex production issues”, following weeks of concerns that it would go against the culture of the Egyptian people.
However, the rapper is confident the gig will happen in the future, tweeting: “Egypt at the pyramids will happen – they just need a bit of time. I will keep you posted.”
I doubt many people will be willing to make that trip again. What a shambles.

THE estranged wife of Ariana Grande’s new boyfriend, fellow Wicked actor Ethan Slater, has hit out at the singer for not being “a girl’s girl.”
Lilly Jay broke her silence last night following the news of the new couple, and said: “My family is just collateral damage.”

Ethan this week filed for divorce from his wife.
Earlier this month, he and Ariana were revealed to be dating, despite the fact he is still married to Lilly Jay, who he had a son with last year.
It is claimed the actor had separated from Lilly before he started the romance.

Ethan and Lilly had been high school sweethearts and got married in 2018.
Big bash for Harry’s 30th
IT is fast becoming the trendiest hotspot in London with celebs in and out of the door like a red carpet event.
So obviously I had to head down to Sheesh Mayfair to see what the fuss is about, following the success of their Essex restaurant which is loved by everyone from Olly Murs to Lord Alan Sugar.

I was not disappointed – by the food, or the company – after chancing upon England captain Harry Kane enjoying his 30th birthday with friends and family there yesterday.
The superstar Tottenham ace was surrounded by pals as he marked the milestone celebration over charcoal-grilled meat and salad, and clearly enjoyed every second of the experience.
And if eating like this is the gateway to sporting superstardom, I’ll be making a habit of it – though after finishing my meal I felt like I could sleep for a week.
Harry, wife Katie Goodland and their three kids arrived mid-afternoon with their youngest baby in the striker’s arms.
As one fellow diner told me: “He’s a regular at the Essex place, he’s been coming for years, it’s clearly his absolute favourite.”
Harry, who turns the big 30 today, is now widely tipped for a move to German giants Bayern Munich after years of uncertainty over his future.
The loyal star had been keen to stay at Spurs, but increasingly wants to add silverware to his illustrious career.
A third bid is understood to be on the table at the moment as Bayern look to lure him away from London.
His current contract expires next summer, with chairman Daniel Levy thought to be increasingly tempted to cash in on his top asset.
But for now, he seems to be enjoying a final few weeks in London – leaving stuffed as he waved goodbye to staff at the venue.
Whatever his footballing future, he won’t be sprinting anywhere today.
Anne all loved up on album
ANNE-MARIE has professed her love for rapper partner Slowthai on her new album.
The record, Unhealthy, is out today and sees her sing at length about heartbreak, but also about finding The One in her boyfriend.

On the track Obsessed, she sings: “How can somebody be so perfect?
“Boy you really got me by the neck.
“Whatever you want, you just gotta ask. I’ll do anything for you, boy, anything.”
On another tune called Never Loved Anyone Before, she sings about learning to love herself through their relationship.

POST MALONE has revealed how becoming a dad last year has made him want to pause his music career.
The singer, who is back today with his fifth album Austin, told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe: “I guess having a baby really put a lot into perspective and it’s really slowed me down a lot, party wise, going out and being crazy.

“I just want to get my stuff and I want to go out and do shows, but then I just want to… I just want to take some time now.”

Nod for Jessie feels good
ED SHEERAN, Lewis Capaldi and The 1975 have had some of the most successful records of the past 12 months but they have been snubbed in the nominations for the Mercury Prize.
But it was good news for Jessie Ware, collecting her nominee award, along with Arctic Monkeys, J Hus, Loyle Garner and Raye who did make the cut.

The award, which will be given out in a ceremony on September 7, celebrates the most critically acclaimed British albums of the past year.
Records from Fred Again, Ezra Collective, Jockstrap, Lankum, Olivia Dean, Shygirl and Young Fathers complete the 12-album shortlist.
That means new albums from the two most recent winners, Little Simz and Arlo Parks, also failed to get recognition.
Jessie was first up for a Mercury Prize in 2012 for her debut album, Devotion. She lost out to ALT-J’s An Awesome Wave.
Speaking on the red carpet, the singer – now nominated for her fantastic fifth album That! Feels Good! – told me: “To be up for it a second time, 11 years on from the last time, feels really amazing for me as a woman in music.
“It’s an important prize that I think shines a light on talent, particularly independent artists, who would potentially get overlooked if it was a popularity contest. It’s exciting.

“Apparently I’m the oldest woman on the shortlist. I live to fight another day.” Asked what it would mean to win, Jessie, 38, continued: “A lot. I feel like I’ve worked very hard to become the artist that I am now, being celebrated.
“I have had highs and lows and I have learned a lot.
“For me as a pop star, to show that pop has no age limits, that’s a really wonderful place to be and I’m really proud of the music that I make.”
Olivia Dean released her debut album, Messy, earlier this month and landed her nomination alongside a former school pal.
She revealed: “I went to school with Raye. She was in the year above me at Brit School.
“We sang in a couple of assemblies together and I’ve followed her career trajectory. I think she’s wicked.”
