AN ICU nurse has shared a memorable dating encounter that constantly reminds her why it’s alright to be single in your 30s.
She revealed dated a man who insisted he saved more lives in his job than she did in the healthcare field.
Medical professional Ariel King (@arielsrna) is a single mother in her 30s who is navigating the dating scene.
In a TikTok video, she shared an awkward story that reminded her why it’s alright for her to be single.
Not only did he insist that his job was more important, but he also told her that he saved more lives with his work.
In addition, Ariel mentioned in the video caption that she thought he was the love of her life before the conversation.
“Whenever I feel sad about being single in my 30s, I think about the time during the pandemic that I dated this guy who was a Skippy peanut butter salesman,” she said.
She went on to claim that he got mad at her and belittled her for being an ICU nurse.
“He would argue with me and say that he has saved more lives than me selling peanut butter because he was feeding America,” she added.
Ariel learned something from the experience that she’ll always remember.
“I think about that, and then I’m like I’m actually not sad to be single,” she said.
