Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield queue row LATEST: Fans say This Morning duo ‘looked p****d off’ as petition rises

FANS claimed the hosts of This Morning “look p****d off” as tens of thousands of Brits demand they’re sacked over a queue jumping row.

ITV stars and This Morning hosts Holly Willouhby 41, and co-host Phillip Schofield, 60, were accused of seemingly jumping the queue in front of thousands of Brits waiting to see the Queen lying in state.

A change.org petition to remove the duo, titled Axe Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby from TV, has collected more than 64,000 signatures, with creator Laura Harrison saying: “ITV should be ashamed of exploiting the situation. I’d like to see This Morning axed for good as I do believe it causes more harm than good, without people noticing.”

And during Thursday’s episode, fans of the show claimed they thought the pair looked like they were “p****d off” – and that Holly looked like she “would burst into tears”.

After social media erupted in response to the footage the under fire presenters broadcast a segment in an attemot to address online claims they were “too posh to queue” in Westminster Hall last Friday.

Holly and Phil have denied any wrongdoing, following allegations that they skipped the queue to see Her Majesty’s lying in state.

“It was strictly for the purpose of reporting on the event for millions of people in the UK who haven’t been able to visit Westminster in person.

“The rules were that we would be quickly escorted around the edges to a platform at the back. In contrast those paying respects walked along a carpeted area beside the coffin and were given time to pause.

“None of the broadcasters and journalists took anyone’s places in the queue and no one filed past the Queen.

“We of course respected those rules however we realised that it may have looked like something else and therefore we totally understand the reaction.

“Please know that we would never jump a queue.”
