When Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic initially released, an entire roster of new Force powers were introduced along with it. In order to give players solid goals to achieve and powers to gain, this was necessary both from a plot and gameplay standpoint. However, many of these Force powers are not considered canon – though a number were later incorporated into the broader Star Wars media canon.
