TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY is HERE and teams are thrashing out their final round of deals ahead of the big finale.

Cristiano Ronaldo appears to be staying PUT after getting on the Manchester United bus to head to Leicester City for tonight’s game.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly reached a full agreement to join Chelsea for £12m, with Marcos Alonso heading to Barcelona in exchange.

Liverpool are also making some moves, with the Reds reported to be close to signing former Arsenal target Arthur Melo.

The Juventus man has been pictured boarding a flight from Turin as he prepares to sign a loan deal.

Manchester City have announced the £15m signing of Dortmund’s Manuel Akanji.

  • Arsenal to make second offer for Luiz

    Arsenal are set to make a second offer to try and sign Douglas Luiz.

    Reports earlier today suggested personal terms are all but agreed between the player and the club, with just the transfer fee still to be hashed out.

    And following a rejection at the first time of asking, Arsenal will return with a second offer to try and convince Aston Villa to let him go according to The Athletic.

    The player is understood to still be pushing for the deal.

  • Ajax reject Chelsea’s bid for Alvarez

    Ajax have rejected Chelsea’s offer fro midfielder Edson Alvarez and told the player he will not be leaving this summer.

    Dutch journalist Mike Verweij reported that the Mexican is angry with the club and finds it unfair that other players have been given the chance to move away.

    The 24-year-old is still hoping the supervisory board at Ajax will let him move to Chelsea.

    Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing Djibril Sow from Eintrcaht Frankfurt.

    It is understood that the fee is just over £4m plus add-ons.

    Senior insiders are saying it is increasingly likely he will depart before tonight’s 11pm deadline.

    However, they also suggest that it’s unlikely to be the end of the matter, and a second approach from the Premier League leaders is expected.

    Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano believes personal terms will not be an issue with Luiz keen to make the move to North London.

  • Fulham closing in on Carlos

    Fulham are understood to have agreed a fee with Benfica to sign striker Carlos Vinicius for £4.3m.

    The former Tottenham forward is currently on loan at PSV Eindhoven, but that deal will now be terminated in order for the Brazilian to return to the Premier League.

    The Cottagers have been in the market for another attacking player following the long-term injuries to Harry Wilson and Manor Solomon, and also require back-up to Aleksandar Mitrovic.

    Vinicius scored 10 goals in 22 appearances during his season on loan at Spurs, but only one of those strikes came in the Premier League.

  • Leeds agree deal for Dieng

    Leeds United have agreed a deal in excess of £10m for Marseille striker Bamba Dieng, according to Sky Sports News.

    The 22-year-old Senegalese star is now travelling to England to undergo a medical with the Elland Road club.

    The forward scored seven goals in 25 Ligue 1 appearances last season, and is seen as a young player with real potential.

    Fulham had made an approach for the Dieng earlier this summer, but were unable to strike a deal with Marseille.
