Arsenal to make second offer for Luiz
Arsenal are set to make a second offer to try and sign Douglas Luiz.
Reports earlier today suggested personal terms are all but agreed between the player and the club, with just the transfer fee still to be hashed out.
And following a rejection at the first time of asking, Arsenal will return with a second offer to try and convince Aston Villa to let him go according to The Athletic.
The player is understood to still be pushing for the deal.

Ajax reject Chelsea’s bid for Alvarez
Ajax have rejected Chelsea’s offer fro midfielder Edson Alvarez and told the player he will not be leaving this summer.
Dutch journalist Mike Verweij reported that the Mexican is angry with the club and finds it unfair that other players have been given the chance to move away.
The 24-year-old is still hoping the supervisory board at Ajax will let him move to Chelsea.

According to Duncan Castles, Chelsea submitted an offer worth almost £69million in the latest talks between the clubs.
However, the Serie A champions rejected this and cited the forward’s £130m release clause.
Milan director Paolo Maldini also blocked the transfer of the 23-year-old.
Chelsea are understood to have offered players in exchange but this proposal was flatly rejected.

Nottingham Forest have completed their 19th signing of the transfer window with the arrival of Willy Boly.
The 31-year-old centre-back moves to the City Ground for an initial fee of £2.25m, but that could rise £4.65m depending on appearances and whether Forest survive in the Premier League.
The Ivorian defender was a popular figure during his five years at Molineux, but soured his spell slightly by refusing to turn up for last weekend’s game with Newcastle.

Fulham are understood to have agreed a fee with Benfica to sign striker Carlos Vinicius for £4.3m.
The former Tottenham forward is currently on loan at PSV Eindhoven, but that deal will now be terminated in order for the Brazilian to return to the Premier League.
The Cottagers have been in the market for another attacking player following the long-term injuries to Harry Wilson and Manor Solomon, and also require back-up to Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Leeds United have agreed a deal in excess of £10m for Marseille striker Bamba Dieng, according to Sky Sports News.
The 22-year-old Senegalese star is now travelling to England to undergo a medical with the Elland Road club.
The forward scored seven goals in 25 Ligue 1 appearances last season, and is seen as a young player with real potential.
Fulham had made an approach for the Dieng earlier this summer, but were unable to strike a deal with Marseille.
