After a long wait of nearly two years, there is good news for Ripple (XRP) holders. Network Flare has announced a planned token distribution event to airdrop the Spark (FLR) altcoin.
However, certain cryptocurrency exchanges will support XRP token holders to receive the airdrop.
Ripple (XRP) Investors Receive 15% of Total Airdrop Rights
Crypto.com has announced that it will airdrop Flare (FLR) for Ripple holders in supporting regions. He stated that the airdrop will be held on the basis of a snapshot of investors’ XRP balance on December 12, 2020.
The highly anticipated airdrop is expected to take place between October 24, 2022 and November 6, 2022. Previously, Huobi also announced that it will support the Flare airdrop for Ripple holders.
According to the statement, Crypto.com stated that users will not be required to hold a minimum of XRP in order to receive Flare tokens. Every Ripple holder will be able to receive Flare tokens in a 1:1 ratio. However, in this airdrop, users will receive 15% of their total qualifying FLR tokens.
However, the cryptocurrency exchange stated in its statement that users who borrowed Ripple and Ripple tokens used in margin trading do not have the right to airdrop.
As it is known, the Ripple token has taken a big hit due to the continuation of the lawsuit between Ripple and the SEC, and it seems that the impact of this lawsuit still puts pressure on Ripple. XRP, once the world’s second largest cryptocurrency, is currently struggling to stay in the top 10.
